dr. Kendra Geeraerts
Kendra Geeraerts is a doctor in Educational Sciences. She works as a teacher educator at Karel de Grote University College. Her research interests relate mainly to teachers’ professional learning. She also has experience in the implementation of the dual learning system in secondary and higher education.
Lien Fret
Lien Fret has a master’s degree in Dutch and English Language and Literature. Because of her experience in teaching Dutch as a second language to both children and adults in urban education, she contributed to the curriculum revisions of the Flemish teacher education programs aimed at reparing future teachers for urban challenges/opportunities
such as multilingualism and socio-cultural diversity. Her research on children’s literature and freelance work in promoting reading made diversity a primary focus in her work as a teacher educator at Karel de Grote University College.
